- The Amiga WAS moving towards industry standard parts. This is the
- acknowledged way forward for cheap expansion and a high power to price
- ratio. VIScorps activities as a set-top box manufacturer would have to be
- entirely different from the activities of a real computer manufacturer.

- Basically I'm not sure what to think at this stage. It's still too early to
- tell. We need to hear from a spokesman from VIScorp to end speculation.

- As an interesting sideline; I remember thinking/saying that Escom buying the
- Amiga was a bad thing because of their aims at the time. Hell, at least
- VIScorp has a background in the Amiga and electronic design.
