  26. The Amiga WAS moving towards industry standard parts. This is the
  27. acknowledged way forward for cheap expansion and a high power to price
  28. ratio. VIScorps activities as a set-top box manufacturer would have to be
  29. entirely different from the activities of a real computer manufacturer.

  33. Basically I'm not sure what to think at this stage. It's still too early to
  34. tell. We need to hear from a spokesman from VIScorp to end speculation.

  36. As an interesting sideline; I remember thinking/saying that Escom buying the
  37. Amiga was a bad thing because of their aims at the time. Hell, at least
  38. VIScorp has a background in the Amiga and electronic design.
